This Week at a Glance- Meet sign Up Open for 6/9!
Good Morning Tsunami families!
I hope that you all had a great weekend after our first home meet! Thank you to everyone that helped ensure that it was a success! A couple items for this week:
1. The meet entry is OPEN for our next swim meet on 6/9. This is against Cherry Knolls at their pool. Please sign your kids up for the events they want to swim by Wednesday June 6th at NOON. The entries will close at this time. To sign your child up for an event, please log into the Knolls Swimtopia website, select schedule and swim meets. Then select the June 9th meet vs. Cherry Knolls and declare your child for attending or not attending the meet. You may sign your child up for 3 events, and be sure to note whether they are available for relays.
2. We are in need of two volunteers for Saturday's meet. We need a 1st Shift Timer and a 1st Shift Back up timer. Please respond to me As soon as possible so that I can get you signed up for these shifts. Remember, that the meets will not run without you!
3. Our first Family Fun night for those 6 and under will be Wednesday, more details to follow.
4. Our Thursday stroke clinic will be Butterfly. Stroke clinics take place of the regular practice, so just ensure that they are there at the normal time. We are still in need of someone to bring coffee to the coaches and 2 people to bring donuts. Please log on to the swimtopia site and sign up for those shifts if you can help out!
5. Finally, Photo day is next Tuesday the 12th. We traditionally have a pancake breakfast this day where everyone signs up to bring something. I would like to propose a change this year- Rather than pancakes on photo day- we will provide donuts and bagels for the kids. Then, later in the season- towards the end- we will have a pancake truck come to the 6/29 morning practice (we were too late to get them next week) as more of an end of season celebration- I will be sending more details on this if we can make it happen. This will eliminate all of the volunteer spots for food donation, set up and clean up of the clubhouse. The cost is $5/person with all you can eat pancakes and 3 sausage links. If all goes well, maybe we can use them going forward on our photo/pancake breakfast day.
