Hello Tsunami Families!  

What a meet yesterday!  Great job to all our swimmers!  Here is what is on the table for this week:

1. Registration is Open for next Saturdays final home meet vs. Heritage Village and for all Prelims.  The entries for Prelims are due to RMSL on Saturday, so please log on to the swimtopia site and register for both events by midnight Tuesday.  

2. There are just a few shifts that need to be filled Saturday.  1st Shift Hospitality, and a 1st and 2nd shift concession stand helper.  The first shift includes setting up the concessions stand and helping sell items through event 45.  The second shift includes breaking down the concession stand and helping sell items from event 46 to the end of the meet.  Please respond to me and let me know if you are able to fill any of these shifts.  Additionally, there are still food donations for the concession stand available.  This is a separate sign up from the meet sign up, so please log in to see if there is something you can help bring.

3. Friday is our Pancake Truck Breakfast for our swimmers.  Friday is a different schedule than Monday through Thursday, so please check the website for the correct time.  The pancake truck will arrive at 8:30am and will serve our swimmers until 9:30.  This should catch those that are getting out of the pool as well as those waiting to get in.  This is the final day for Ripples, and all are invited to the pancake truck!  The cost is $5/person for all you can eat pancakes and 3 sausage links.  Please be sure to send your kiddos with some cash so they can enjoy the breakfast! 

4. Based on the response that I received for the Parent Relays, we are going to cancel the event this year.  Hopefully next year we can bring it back, possibly earlier in the season and not so close to the 4th of July holiday.

5. Sign Up for Prelim shifts- all of the signups are open for prelim volunteers.  If you are going to be there, please consider helping out... the shifts are required to be filled by each team in order to run the event, so we need your help! 

6. Finally, we will need at least one additional parent rep for next season as Allie has fulfilled her 2 year commitment.  I will also be adding (or bringing back) a person that will focus on the social events that we hold for the team (tye dye day, family nights, parent relays, etc).  This will be an exempt position.  Please consider volunteering for one of these positions next year.  I would be happy to talk with anyone interested regarding the commitment and expectations for the positions, so please reach out to me or Allie if you think one of these might be a good fit for you.
