Pirates Cove Event
Hello Tsunami Families!
We are so excited about tomorrows event at Pirates Cove! The event begins at 6:30 pm and goes until 8:30pm. The entire park is reserved for our team and family and friends. If you have already purchased tickets, we will be checking you in at the door... if you are making a last minute decision, we will be accepting cash or check (made to Knolls Tsunami Swim Team) when you arrive. The price is $10/person- and again, even if they are not part of the team, they are more than welcome! A big shout out and many thanks to our wonderful donors for the event tomorrow (SouthCreek Woodworks and Jets Pizza) we will have 20 pizzas and soda as well as ice cream for dessert. Everything will be available on a donation basis- as this is our fund raiser for the year. We purchased 2 new tents, and would like to purchase steel posts for the perimeter of the pool as well as flag posts for our home meets.
While we are looking forward to a fun even tomorrow night, please be sure to adhere to the locations guidelines as described below in our contract:
Renter may bring outside food into the facility, including having food delivered and/or catered.
o No glass containers of any kind
o If renter desires to utilize a barbecue (provided by renter), a tarp or other substantial covering must be placed on the ground under it to prevent grease stains on concrete
o All charcoal briquettes must be removed from the facility by the renter.
Smoking is prohibited in the facility. There are designated smoking areas on the outside of the gates.
Alcoholic beverages and recreational drugs are prohibited both within and around the facility. (City of Englewood Ordinance 53-C-3.)
Any participant found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave Pirates Cove.
All participants are responsible for following the rules of use for the slides, lazy river, diving board and pools as set forth by the lifeguards on duty.
Renter shall obey all laws of the State of Colorado and ordinances of the City of Englewood and shall allow no nuisance, undue noise or disturbance.
All rules and regulations will be strictly enforced
We want to wish all our dads a Happy Fathers Day and look forward to celebrating you at the pool tomorrow! It has been a great season up to this point and we have many other fun things planned for our group of swimmers.
