    Information week of 6/17-6/22

    Hello Tsunami Families!

What a great event last night turned out to be!  The clouds parted and we had sun for the majority of the event.  Thank you all for your generous donations!  The money will be going to good use.  We will be able to say goodbye to those buckets of concrete and PVC pipe around our pool during the home meets!  If anyone has any feedback on the event last night and what could be done differently, please let us know.  It was our inaugural year, and always welcome suggestions.

Here is what we have on the schedule for this week:

**Practice Schedule- Please refer to Randy's email from Sunday for the new practice schedule.  This information is also available on the front page of the website.

Wednesday 6/19- Water World Day- There will be no practice and no ripples.  If you are joining the coaches, please meet at the entrance when the park opens @10am.  If you are planning on coming later, they will try to get the tables near the wave pool.  The coaches would like everyone to set up base together if possible.

Saturday 6/22- Swim meet vs. BowmarS South.  I will be sending out emailed reminders for those with shifts as well as meet information later in the week.  The deadline to sign up for the meet is Wednesday at 11am.

Other upcoming events and important dates to remember:

Saturday 6/29 is our final meet of the regular season and will be a home meet.  Directly after this meet, we will be having parent relays and some team activities for the kids.  We will keep concessions open.  Be on the lookout for the relay sign up sheets and other important information for this fun day!

A HUGE shout out to Mark Finneman who so generously donated the new rolling shelf in the shed and helped us clean it up!  It is now in a state where you can find what you need and are not stepping over everything to get to our tents and set up items.  Thank you!  Please be sure to try to keep the shed in an orderly fashion, so that it does not get out of control again.

Speaking of tents:  We are still in possession of the old tents that are not in working order.  They are on the side of the shed by the pool.  If anyone would like to have them and see if you can fix them- they are yours for the taking.  If they are not removed from the shed by the last home meet, we will be throwing them in the dumpsters.

The meet sign up is now open for prelims.  If you know that you will be attending and what you might want to swim- please go ahead and start registering.  Randy and the other coaches are especially interested in those that will not be attending prelims as they are trying to start determining the relays and what kind of lineup we will have.  Also, remember, if you are planning to attend prelims, you will need to grab a volunteer shift for the one that you attend.

Thank you all for your continued support of the team! Please let us know if you have any questions/concerns.
