Hello Tsunami Family! 

The 2020 Summer League Swim Season is upon us! We are so excited to get going. The Knolls swim team is open to residents and swimmers outside of our neighborhood. Here are some important dates:

SWIMSUIT TRY ON - Sunday, April 5th from 5PM to 7PM at the Knolls Clubhouse - The suits are the same as last year. There will be a link on our team website to Out of Breath Sports for ordering if you cannot make it.

NEW PARENT MEETING - Sunday, April 5th from 5PM to 5:30PM at the Knolls Clubhouse - Open for anyone with questions. The Head Coach and Parent Reps will be available.

REGISTRATION OPENS - Saturday, April 11th at 10AM - Volunteer positions will be open. There will be a 4 shift minimum requirement per family for those on the swim team.  This does not include Prelims and Finals.  If you have a swimmer at one of these meets, there will be additional volunteer shifts to be filled.   If you are a ripples swimmer only, there will be volunteer requirements; however, they will be slightly different.  You will not be required to fill a shift at a meet, but will have a shift such as bringing coffee to the coaches and donuts to the team.  Please note: the league has adopted a new meet platform for this season called Swimmingly.  This platform requires that Timers and Stroke Judges use an iPhone or Android for their position.  While this system is slated to eliminate many volunteer positions (Yay!) it will look very different from how meets were run in the past.  We are hoping to have a time trial event prior to the first meet of the season to ensure that we have any kinks worked out.  This will be a good time for anyone in those positions to come and test out the new system.

If you have any old and unused iPhones 5s - i0s12 and 13 or newer, android lollipop 5.1.1 or new (name brand preferred), or iPads and would like to donate them to the team for the new platform, let us know. Our hope is to round up enough devices so that we can use those for the meets and you will not need to use your personal devices for timing/stroke judging.

TEAM KICKOFF DINNER w/ Noodles & Co- Friday, May 29th at 6:00PM at the Knolls Clubhouse. Purchase available at time of registration.

TEAM PICTURES and PANCAKE TRUCK (Flippin’ Flapjacks) - Wednesday, June 10th at 8AM PIRATES COVE NIGHT - Thursday, June 25th from 6PM - 8PM - with Heritage Greens Swim Team.  Concessions will be open.  Purchase available at time of registration.
