    Swim Team Information- Registration Open 4/9/22 @ 11am

    Hello Tsunami Families!

    We hope that everyone is doing well and getting geared up for the upcoming swim season! There are a couple of updates and reminders that we wanted to let you know prior to the registration opening.

    • First and foremost- we would like to welcome Shannon Walsh as our new Parent Rep! Thank you and welcome Shannon!!!
    • Registration will open this Saturday, 4/9/22 at 11am. During registration, you will be required to sign up for your volunteer shifts. Please remember that this is a MINIMUM requirement of 4 working hours/family. We only have 2 home meets this year, so that will cut down on the amount of shifts that we will have available- but we cannot run a swim meet without your help. Also, please remember that your volunteer requirements are for the regular swim season. If your child participates in Prelims and Finals, there is a volunteer requirement for that as well.
    • There are some season long volunteer positions that we are looking to fill. These include the Meet Set Up Coordinator (this individual will be responsible for coordinating the set up of all home and away meets) and a Meet Take Down Coordinator (this individual will be responsible for coordinating the take down of all home and away meets) as well as the Head Clerk of Course (this individual is responsible to ensuring that there are enough volunteers for heating for home and away meets). These positions are extremely important to ensure that our meets are run smoothly and that the appropriate equipment gets to and from each location. Please consider signing up for one of these positions when volunteering. There are always people available to help and some guidelines already in place for these positions.
    • Ripples ONLY parents- please sign up for food donations when volunteering. We have plenty of opportunities, and do not expect you to volunteer for a working position at a swim meet when your child will not be in attendance. If you have a child that is participating in the swim team and meets, please do not sign up for food donations at this time unless they are in addition to your working hours.
    • At the time of registration, you will also have the opportunity to register and pay for the Spaghetti Dinner and Pancake Breakfast. There is a link for the Out Of Breath Store as well. These orders must be in by 4/18/22 in order to have the gear by the beginning of the season
    • Swim Suit Try-On will be at the Knolls Clubhouse on Sunday 4/10 from 3-5 pm. Parent Reps will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. There will not be a formal meeting, but more of an open house.
