7/9 Meet Southpark

Happy Thursday Tsunamis!

As we near the end of the season, we need to ask that we fill our volunteer spots for the meet at SouthPark. We have 3 heating shifts and 2 takedown shifts still available for Saturday’s meet. Let’s make sure parents stay out of heating this week as space is very limited.
The Dolphins have invited us to join their Christmas in July theme with them.

Instructions for Saturday

The SouthPark Dolphins Swim Team welcomes the Knolls Tsunami Swim Team to our dual meeton Saturday, July 9!Below is information about the meet: SouthPark Pool Address: 2801 West Long Drive, Littleton, CO 80120 Meet Manager: Meet entries in Swimmingly at Heat Sheet Ready need to be completed no later than Thursday, July 7 at 3 pm. Parking: We have limited space in the parking lot. We will reserve space, at minimum, one space for a Parent Rep and one space for a Coach. Tents: You can set up your tents on the green space on the north side of the tennis courts. There is an entrance to the pool in close proximity to where your tents will be that leads right into the heating area! The Dolphins team tent is to be set up just north of the pool so all swimmers will be using the same entrance into the pool.

Important Info for Swimmers and Parents:

In order for our Heating to run smoothly and efficiently, ONLY swimmers are allowed in Heating and behind the starting blocks.
In an effort to keep our community pool furniture in the best condition, no sharpie may be used on any swimmers backs. The only sharpie use allowed is on the swimmers shoulder with team initials and Swimmingly ID number. Thank you for helping us to keep our pool furniture in the best possible condition!
Concessions: We will have plenty of breakfast and lunch fare, including breakfast burritos, burgers, hot dogs, fruit, sweets, treats, and beverages. Cash purchase only. Please let us know how many swimmers you have so our Concessions Committee can plan accordingly. Schedule: 6:45 am - pool opens 7:15 am - away team warm ups - (7:15 - 7:45 am) 7:20 am - Scratch meeting by starting blocks 7:30 am - Stroke Judge and Starter/Ref meeting at starter/ref post - EVERY STROKE JUDGE MUST ATTEND 7:40 am - Timer meeting with starter/ref at starter/ref post - ALL TIMERS MUST ATTEND 7:50 am - Welcome, team cheer, and start heating through Event 12 7:55 am - National Anthem 8:00 am - Senior Recognition
8:05 am - first event begins!
Volunteer shift change will be made at Event 45. We are looking forward to hosting a fun meet!
