This is the info on the stroke judge and starter/ref trainings from Kris Reese:

1. The online Returning Stroke Judge training is Tuesday, May 16, at 7PM for about an hour. The link is: meet.google.com/nwa-jpwi-mhb.

2. The online Starter/Referee training will be on Thursday, May 18, also at 7PM for about an hour. That meeting link is: meet.google.com/ert-fjpe-pae.

3. The in-person training (for new stroke judges) is on Saturday, May 20 at 10AM at Hunters Hill Pool (7235 S. Xanthia St., Centennial, CO 80112) and will run for at least an hour, but no longer than 2 hours.

A number of people (new stroke judges) have asked about attending a different training if they can’t make the Saturday session. While Kris strongly recommends trying to make that in-person session, it’s OK if they instead attend the Tuesday session online and get some mentoring from seasoned stroke judges before they get on deck and stroke judge alone. Kris will also do his best to record these sessions and post them, and he can share the materials with every parent rep. Please make sure that all of your stroke judges, starters and refs get this information.
