Hello Tsunami Families!

        We can’t believe summer is almost here (especially on a Snow Day!!) and summer swim season is right around the corner. Here are important dates for your calendar as we get ready to kick off the season in mid-May! We will have details about afternoon practices, volunteer shifts, swimsuit try-ons and all our other summer events at our Swim Team Kick Off Meeting at the Knolls Clubhouse Sunday, April 14^th 4:00. We invite all parents, new AND returning, so our team can build community and everyone has the latest information. We are excited to bring back our Swim Buddies program so our older swimmers can encourage our younger swimmers!

      Feel free to forward this email to any potential new swimmers. We invite swimmers from other neighborhoods who don’t have their own swim team, so share with friends who may want to join! We are also still accepting coach and junior coach applications so check out the website for more details if your swimmer is interested in applying.

     More information about volunteer shifts, this year’s team suit, coaches, and other fun event ideas will be coming in the next several weeks. But for now, here are the important dates for this summer!

Events / Important Dates:

• Registration/ Volunteer shift sign ups – Opens Monday April 15^th.
• Afternoon practices begin May 13^th. Tentative times listed on our website.
• NEW: Intersquad practice meet with Cherry Knolls – evening week of 5/28 – date will be finalized soon.
• Spaghetti Dinner for swimmers and families at the clubhouse - Friday June 2^nd
• Pancake Breakfast at practice – Friday June 14^th
• Picture Day at practice – Friday June 21^st
• Pirates Cove Night with Cherry Knolls (team fundraiser) – Thursday June 27^th 6-8 pm - great night to invite friends!

Swim Meets on Saturdays (All meets begin at 8:am)

• June 1^st – Home Tri Meet (plan to have events until 2pm) Hosting Hampden Heights and Green Oaks
• June 8^{th –} Home Meet – Hosting Heritage Village
• June 15^th – Away Meet at Hunters Hill
• June 22^nd – Home Meet – Hosting Preserve
• June 29^th – Away Meet at South Park

Prelims and Finals

(all swimmers are invited / encouraged to swim in Prelims!

• Finals on 7/13^th are based on prelim results)
• Monday July 8^th – 13 and up Prelims at Cherry Creek Vista
• Tuesday July 9^th – 8 and under Prelims at Heritage Greens
• Wednesday July 10^th – 9/10 Prelims at Homestead North Pool
• Thursday July 11^th 11/12 Prelims at Homestead Farm II
• Saturday July 13^th – Finals at Stonegate
