Happy Monday Tsunami Families!

We were so close to beating The Preserve Piranhas last weekend! That was some incredible swimming Knolls swimmers! And thank you all our parent volunteers who helped us pull off the last home meet of the season! It is so amazing seeing our community all there together!

Saturday- Away Meet

This Saturday is our last regular season meet and it will be at the South Park Pool. The address is 2801 W Long Dr, Littleton, 80120 (Basically down Dry Creek/ Mineral 10 minutes – almost to Santa Fe). The Tsunami warm up time will be at 7:15. Heating for relays will begin at 7:50 so please have your swimmers there in time for heating for their event.

The South Park pool has asked for no sharpie writing on swimmers’ bodies, other than events on swimmers’ arms, as they have had some bad experiences with sharpie rubbing off on their white pool chairs.

And just like at our pool, please no parents in the heating area.

Events for Saturday must be declared in Swimtopia by Tuesday night.

Please also declare in Swimtopia if your swimmer will not be able to attend.

Tomorrow 6/24: Swimmers’ choice – coaches will group based on what swimmers want to work on, especially to avoid a DQ at prelims.

Thursday 6/26: Starts, Turns, AND FINISHES (we want to help swimmers finish their races strong!)

Tues 7/2: Swimmers’ choice – coaches will group based on what swimmers want to work on, especially to avoid a DQ at prelims.

Pirates Cove is this Thursday from 6-8pm!

Invite your friends and have a blast while also helping the team, as it is a fundraiser! Tickets are $15 for kids and $6 adults on the Swimtopia store here: https://knollstsunami.swimtopia.com/shop Or you can save a dollar on each by paying by cash/check. (Adult price is the same even if you do love to swim/ enjoy the water slides 😊 ) Swimmers under 13 need a parent/supervision this evening.

Prelim Events Are Open – Sign Ups Due 7/2 (no exceptions as this is run by the league)

Swimmers can sign up for up to 3 individual events. Coaches will determine relays. Join us as we swim a few more meets together!

Next Week!

Regular practices and Ripples run through Wednesday 7/3. There are no practices on 7/4 or 7/5.

Come tie dye a t-shirt in the green outside the pool area – Wed 7/3 at 4:00. Cost is $4 for dye and a shirt! We will have shirts in all swimmers’ sizes available.
