Hello Knolls Tsunami Swim Families!

       It may still be winter, but we are in full summer swim team planning mode! We are thrilled to announce that Morgan Mckenna will return as our head coach. After a great summer last year, she is excited to work with our Knolls Tsunami swimmers again this summer! We are accepting applications for assistant coaches (full and part time) through March 1^st. Application link is on the Knolls Tsunami website.

       We will have details about afternoon practices, volunteer shifts, swimsuit try-ons and all our other summer events at our Swim Team Kick Off Meeting on Sunday, April 13^th at 4pm at the Knolls Club House. We invite all parents, new AND returning, so our team can build community, and everyone has the latest information. And like last year we will be raffling off 2 swimsuits at the meeting!

Important dates for this summer!

• Registration/Volunteer shift signups – Opens Sunday April 13^th after the kick off meeting.
• Afternoon practices begin May 12^th. Tentative times listed on our website.
• Intersquad practice meet with Cherry Knolls – Wed May 28^th in the evening.
• Spaghetti Dinner for swimmers and families at the clubhouse - Friday May 30^th.
• Pancake Breakfast at practice – Friday June 13^th
• Pirates Cove Night with Cherry Knolls (team fundraiser) – Thursday June 26^th
  6-8 pm - great night to invite friends!
• End of Season Awards/Celebration – Sunday evening 7/13^th on the greenbelt by the Knolls Clubhouse

(All meets begin at 8am, swimmers check in by warm ups or 7am)

• May 31^st– Home Meet - Hosting South Park
• June 7^th - Home Meet - Hosting Green Oaks
• June14^th – Away Meet @ Heritage Village
• June 21^st – Away Meet @the Preserve
• June 28^th – Home Tri Meet (plan to stay until 2pm) Hosting Heritage Heights and Hunters Hill

Prelims and Finals

(All swimmers are invited / encouraged to swim in Prelims!)

• Monday July 7^th – 13 and up Prelims @ Stonegate
• Tuesday July 8^th – 8 and under Prelims @ Homestead North Pool
• Wednesday July 9^th – 9/10 Prelims @Heritage Greens
• Thursday July 10^th– 11/12 Prelims @Homestead Farm II
• Saturday July 12^th – Finals @CCV (for swimmers who qualify based on prelim results)
