Stroke Judge Training
Hello Stroke Judges!
Thank you much for supporting our swimmers! Here is a link to the stroke judge training. You will need to pay $25 to take the training (your registration was -$50).
This course is part of the process to become a Stroke and Turn Judge for Rocky Mountain Swim League.
In the course, we’ll review some of the basics of officiating, dive deep into the technical rules of swimming, and help you build the skills needed on deck as an official. At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Identify all components of each stroke as it complies with the applicable rules.
- Apply the technical rules of swimming to identify infractions for disqualification.
- Recognize how your roles and responsibilities coordinate with the officiating team at a meet.
- Follow the process by which an identified infraction becomes a disqualification.
- Understand the pathway required to complete the Stroke and Turn certification.
